Sovran Commodities brokers raw cashew nuts in shell from East and West Africa to processors in India and Vietnam and to trade houses in Europe.
Cashew is bought on outturn. Every RCN position we carry is stated in KOR, the pounds of kernel recovered from an 80 kg bag, together with nut count, moisture and defect levels, because those numbers set the price a processor will pay. A cashew offer without a current cut test on the actual lot does not go to a buyer.
Tanzania raw cashew nuts.
Our current focus is the Tanzania crop. Positions are offered FOB origin port, with inspection by a buyer-nominated surveyor before loading.
Senegal raw cashew nuts.
For the 2027 season we carry forward positions from Casamance and the central zone, alongside other West African origins including Guinea-Bissau.
